Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

'Young Frankenstein' is probably the best Mel Brooks movie. Gene Wilder is Dr. Frankenstein, two generations after the legendary Dr. Frankenstein. The young Frankenstein continues with his grandfathers work.

Gene Wilder is perfect in his role. Peter Boyle as the monster does a great job as well, but best in this film is Teri Garr as the assistant of Frankenstein, Inga. They are all hilarious. A very funny spoof on the horror movie, especially the one from the thirties. A lot of great inside jokes, but even if you don't know much about the horror-genre you will have enough to enjoy.
