Weird Science rating: (out of 4 stars) United States; 1985 Directed by John Hughes; produced by Joel Silver; written by John Hughes Starring Anthony Michael Hall, Kelly LeBrock, Ilan Mitchell-Smith, Bill Paxton, Suzanne Snyder, Robert Downey Jr. Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.
With 'The Breakfast Club' and 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' as two pretty good
John Hughes-movies this one is a little disappointing. Two boys, Gary and
Wyatt (Anthony Michael Hall and Ilan Mitchell Smith), create a woman on
their computer and in movies it is not strange that the woman becomes a real
person. Her name is Lisa (Kelly LeBrock) and she is supposed to be the most
beautiful woman in the world. Since Gary and Wyatt are such nerds they need
a woman like that to become popular. |
