Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

'Wayne's World' is a nice and sometimes funny movie that finds its charm in Mike Myers, although he is a lot funnier in his 'Austin Powers'. The story is about two rather strange guys named Wayne (Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey) who have their own television show, filmed in their basement. A big producer (Row Lowe) wants the show for national television. Of course he seems nice but is not. The story also involves a girl named Cassandra (Tia Carrere). Wayne falls in love with her, and of course the big producer shows up in that area as well.

Like I said the movie is sometimes funny. With a comedy that is what we expect, but in my opinion it is not as funny as it could have been. There are some nice touches. There is talking to the camera, and Wayne and Garth are the only people who are allowed to do so. They even comment on that fact. Of course Myers is a fine comedian and that makes sure we have other laughs as well. The characters Wayne and Garth are funny enough to make us smile during the movie and in the end I even thought the movie had a certain sweetness. Again, it is not as funny as the 'Austin Powers'-movies but it has the same Mike Myers energy.
