Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

This story about a scarecrow, a tin man, a cowardly lion, a good witch and a wicked witch, a great wizard and a girl lost in the land of Oz still looks great after so many years. Probably everybody knows the story of how the girl Dorothy gets in a magical place because a twister lifts her up and takes her there. The Good Witch of the North tells her she must go and find the Wizard of Oz because he can bring her home. Home is Kansas. To get there she must follow the famous yellow brick road. On the way she meets the scarecrow, the tin man and the lion. The Wicked Witch of the West is the villain. She wants the red shoes Dorothy is waring. Dorothy saved The Munchkins from another wicked witch and the shoes were her reward.

It is magical story, and the place looks magical. Judy Garland is as cute as she can be and the humour from especially the lion and the scarecrow is still working very well. With nice and famous songs, pretty good visuals and the great cinematography this is a timeless classic.
