Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

Unfaithful is one of the best films from 2002 I have seen. It starts slow but not boring. The introduction takes about an hour. In that first hour Constance (Diane Lane) starts an affair with a man named Paul (Olivier Martinez). Constance her husband Edward (Richard Gere) knows something strange is going on but he is not sure. He sends someone to follow his wife. Then the real suspense begins.

The sex scenes are hot and steamy. Diane Lane is not the most beautiful woman in the world but she is more sexy than all that so called perfect women. She is not only sexy, she can act too. Her role as Constance might be the finest I have seen this year, at least one of the finest. Richard Gere is very good too (and with his surprisingly good performance in Chicago this year, I'm really starting to like him).

Unfaithful is fascinating the entire time, as well as exciting. The last hour is thrilling, every second, but not in a scary way. It is thrilling and with a lot of suspense in a different way than most thrillers, and I am glad this film didn't go as most Hollywood-thrillers go. Until the last shot it will keep your attention. A great film, not to be missed.
