Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

There are some very explicit sex scenes in ‘Last Tango in Paris'. Without any emotion Paul (Marlon Brando) and Jeanne (Maria Schneider) have sex in an almost empty apartment. His wife just died and her fiancé is making a movie about their love for each other. Most of the scenes are set in the apartment and in the other scenes we see why they do what they are doing. I understand why people think this is good, but it didn't do much to me.

The sex scenes are graphic and daring; it looks nothing like the normal movie-sex. To see a great actor like Marlon Brando is a little fun. There is one moment that involves butter that is almost shocking if you realize it is Brando who is saying and doing certain things. He is the best thing in the movie. His acting here is great. Schneider is not bad either although I think her role is easier to play.

Although the story was not my thing I wasn't bored while watching this movie. I don't know whether it was Brando, the sex scenes, the cinematography, the score or something else that kept my attention, but something did. Therefore I can't say I didn't like the movie at all, and again, I do understand if other people will like it.
