Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

There are three things I liked in 'Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace'. The first is Liam Neeson as a character not present in the original movie called Qui-Gon Jinn, the master of apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi (played by an empty Ewan McGregor). The second thing is Samual L. Jackson. Not because he is so great but he is quite funny. I don't even know for sure if I liked him the way it was meant. The third thing is every visual effect. Yes, I admire and love the visuals in this movie. Because there is a nice visual effect in every scene the movie is nice to watch as well.

I loved 'Star Wars', 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi' and was really looking forward for this. The way this is the set-up for the three original movies is a little admirable also, but most of the things have little to do with the three. The real dark side of Anakin is not really there, Obi-Wan Kenobi is almost a nobody in this movie, Yodha is the same as always. I have seen 'Episode II' as well and fortunately that was a lot better and had a lot more to do with the three first movies. In my opinion that movie was better for the beginning of the saga. This movie could be told in some lines, written in yellow letters with a famous theme as background music.
