Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

'A Streetcar Named Desire' has one of the greatest actors in movie history in one of his greatest roles. Marlon Brando plays Stanley Kowalski, a man who is not very decent. He is married to Stella (Kim Hunter). One day her sister Blanche (Vivien Leigh) comes to visit them and stays. Stanley doesn't like her from the start, there is something not as it seems to be.

Directed by Elia Kazan, this is a masterpiece. The acting is perfect. Brando, Hunter, Leigh and also Karl Malden as Mitch, a man who is attracted to Blanche do great jobs. The black and white cinematography is perfect for the atmosphere, which is very claustrophobic. A very great film.
