Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

Jack Foley (George Clooney) is a bank robber who escapes from prison with the help of Buddy (Ving Rhames). Due circumstances he ends up in a trunk with federal marshal Karen Sisco (Jennifer Lopez) and they have a nice talk on the way. She has to arrest him, he can't be caught, but they fall in love. With the help of Glenn Michaels (Steve Zahn) who is suppose to help Jack and Buddy Karen escapes but ends up in the hospital. The story learns us that Glenn has a big heist in Detroit on a rich man Ripley (Albert Brooks), involving another criminal named Snoopy Miller (Don Cheadle).

In flashbacks and flash-forwards we see how Ripley, Glenn, Snoopy and Jack & Buddy have met and what their relations are. The editing is one of the great things in this movie. Another great thing is the characters and the comedy that comes with them. Strange people like Glenn, Snoopy“s brother Kenneth and White Boy Bob just have to make you laugh. And then there are the two funny appearances by Michael Keaton (as Ray Nicolette, the same character from 'Jackie Brown') and Samuel L. Jackson. The characters and especially their dialogue are just perfect.

Last but not least we have some sequences to admire. The trunk-scene with Clooney and Lopez, one of the greatest robberies I have seen on screen, a love scene that is edited in a very nice way and pretty much every other scene as well. One of the most entertaining crime-movies I know, funny and intelligent.
