Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

'Ocean's Eleven' is a movie that delivers. You get everything you expect and therefore this is one of the most entertaining movies I have seen. Since the movie is directed by Steven Soderbergh ('Out of Sight', 'Traffic') and it is starring great Hollywood stars like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts together with supporting roles from Andy Garcia, Elliott Gould, Bernie Mac, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Carl Reiner and Don Cheadle it is not strange this movie is so entertaining.

The main story is about eleven guys, with leader Danny Ocean (Clooney), who want to rob three casinos owned by Terry Benedict (Garcia). Ocean's second man is Ryan (Pitt) and Reuben (Elliott Gould) is the guy who supports this job financially. He has a thing against Benedict. The second story deals with Tess (Roberts). She is with Benedict now but used to be married to Danny. Where the movie is all about the casinos at first it seems that stealing Tess from Benedict is a second job that must be pulled at the same time.

How the men try to rob the casinos I will not reveal. That it is possibly impossible doesn't matter because it seems ingenious anyway. All actors play their part as they should do it. Especially Clooney and Pitt give a natural charm to their characters. The movie is funny and exciting, never boring. A great remake from the original Rat Pack movie from 1960, highly recommended for an entertaining evening.
