Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

'M' is about a child murderer who is wanted by the police and the underworld itself. It is a classic movie, still very haunting. The murderer is played by Peter Lorre. He whistles the same famous tune from "Peer Gynt" (from composer Grieg) over and over again which eventually turns out very bad for him.

We see how a complete police force is hunting the killer and how all criminals in town are looking for him. We see some famous scenes, including the first murder and the speech given by Lorre near the end where the movie wants a little understanding for the killer's acts.

A terrific German classic with great direction from Fritz Lang (who directed the silent 'Metropolis'). Not to be missed.
