Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

'Just Married' has an opening five minutes where Tom Leezak (Ashton Kutcher) and Sarah McNerney (Brittany Murphy) are back in the USA and get off a plain from Venice. In these five minutes you see them walking through the airport doing stuff to each other that is not very nice. After the five minutes you have had the funniest moments of the movie, and although they were a bit cruel, they definitely were entertaining.

After this we see the movie; one big flashback of their honeymoon. The fact that things will probably end up good seems almost impossible, but we must not forget that in the end this is a romantic comedy. Their honeymoon is a disaster and to make the disaster even bigger a guy named Peter Prentiss (Christian Kane) shows up. He and Sarah had a one-time thing, he still loves her and her family would like to see her with Peter, not with Tom.

You can imagine misunderstanding after misunderstanding that leads to the opening minutes of the movie, unfortunately not shown again. In fact, you can imagine the whole story. The only thing you can not imagine is the happy ending that is required. 'Just Married' has two new stars as leading actors. Brittany Murphy and Ashton Kutcher do the best they can but they have material where you can't do much good with.
