Rosswell, New Mexico becomes Rockwell, Maine and 1947 becomes 1957 in this
animation picture. A big UFO is landing near Rockwell and the thing turns
out to be a giant robot that eats metal things when it is hungry. A little
boy, Hogarth (voice by Eli Marienthal), finds the robot, saves his life and
becomes friends with him. He has to hide the robot from his mother (voice by
Jennifer Aniston) and of course from the government. He does this together
with Dean McCoppin (voice by Harry Connick Jr.), the man who owns a
scrapyard, the perfect hiding place for a metal-eating thing. |
