In Bruges rating: (out of 4 stars) United Kingdom, Belgium; 2008 Directed by Martin McDonagh; produced by Graham Broadbent, Peter Czernin; written by Martin McDonagh Starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Ralph Fiennes, Clémence Poésy, Eric Godon, Thekla Reuten If nothing else, 'In Bruges' is a terrific advertisement for the Belgian city of Bruges (Brugge in Dutch, probably unable to pronounce for non-Dutch speakers). Especially in the first hour not very much is happening, but the images are gorgeous. In between Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson make us laugh through their dialogue, before it gets a little nastier in the second half of the film. Nastier means a little messy in execution too, but ???????????. Farrell and Gleeson play hit men
