Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

'Equilibrium' has a message. It is also a action movie that doesn't make much sense in some scenes but is very entertaining to watch. In a world where people are not allowed to feel anything we meet John Preston (Christian Bale). He is a cleric, someone who makes sure people follow the law. The people don't have the desire to feel because they take a certain drug. Some people don't want to take it, they want to be free. One day Preston doesn't take the drug and feels for the first time. From that moment he stops taking the drugs and sees how wrong the system is. He joins the resistance to make things right again.

The clerics fight with an art that is called gun-kata. Instead of simply shooting someone they do impossible things first and then shoot the person. It doesn't make sense, but it looks very nice so I don't complain. Especially the fight in the end of the movie looks great. I enjoyed this movie very much and with its underlying message it is not simply an action movie.
