Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

Bad Company is a combination of films we have seen a lot. If the film has some original moments that doesn't matter much, but Bad Company is not original in any way. Like almost every movie it has its fun moments, but besides those I only liked Anthony Hopkins. Not that he has a very great performance in this film, there is just something about him that always pleases me in his performances. I think it is some kind of peace in his voice or something.

The story is about Chris Rock who is killed after Part I of a weapon-deal, saving the life of Anthony Hopkins. They are both CIA-agents, undercover of course. The killers are terrorists who also wants the weapons involving the deal and during the movie they keep coming on the way. To complete Part II of the weapon-deal, 8 days later, they need another undercover agent who looks exactly like Chris Rock. It happens to be that Chris Rock has a twin brother, earning his money with street-chess and ticket-selling, looking exactly like Chris Rock. This brother must be trained to do the rest of the deal.

The scenes involving his training are supposed to be funny... most of the time, they are not. I didn't laugh for any of Rocks scenes. In Lethal Weapon 4 I liked his one-liners, here they are annoying. The story gets more predictable with every minute and then there must be some kind of turning point which is simply ridiculous. Some action sequences were pretty okay, so the movie was watchable. If you don't bother plot and if you try not to be annoyed by Chris Rock you might even like it. I did sometimes.
