Below you will find a temporary review for this film. The real (better, more complete) review will be online very soon.

'Austin Powers in Goldmember' is not as funny as the first two 'Austin Powers'-movies, but it has some big laughs and makes sure you will smile almost constantly. Mike Myers is Austin Powers, Dr. Evil and Fat Bastard once again. His new character is the Dutch Goldmember.

The opening sequence is the best things in the movie. We see a lot of famous actors, directors and singers and together with Myers they give the movie this great opening. There are other big laughs but the movie can't live up to its opening. A lot of those laughs come from Austin's father Nigel, played by Michael Caine, who hates the Dutch. His jokes are funny and although Goldmember has some nice moments as well, he certainly doesn't sound Dutch (I can know). In fact, most of the time he uses German words. I don't mind that they make fun of my country, but that they don't even do it right is a little stupid.

Still, for a third installment this is a nice and quite funny movie. The female lead is for Beyoncé Knowles (known from Destiny's Child) and although I liked both Elizabeth Hurley in the first and Heather Graham in the second movie better, she did a pretty nice job. If you liked the first two movies you will like this one, may be laugh a little less, but still be very entertained.
